A good week...how was yours?

Hey all: I'm finally ready to get going on this thing and have been gathering my thoughts all week (most while riding...i admit it).

We did the IronTeam kick off and it was a really great time. A smaller group than last year (or so i am told; i'm the fng) and everybody is stoked to get going.Maybe a little nervous about the fund raising since most of the kick off meeting centered on this topic-  i never did know how much it was; it's not cheap. good way to get skin in the game i guess!

My  Thursday morning coaching client, Scott, is doing a great job following the schedule and puts his all into every workout. that's the dedication it takes to make large improvements in your cycling.

I also got some jobs this week from some old friends. These are always my favorite jobs; in fact Damian and I hadn't talked for quite a while, so his business led to a nice long chat. I sure do like your bike Damian!

The bulk of this week, though, was creating the cycling training program for the IronTeam. That stuff takes time and thought and that meant i worked on the family room floor with stacks of notebooks neatly(?) for a few days. Very fun stuff.

Tomorrow is the IronTeam cycling clinic and i'm very excited to work with Ron, Dan, and Fairn this season.  I'm doing the maintenance clinic and will probably ended up addressing problems with peoples' bikes for the rest of the session. Then i'm going riding! the clinic is at Foothill college so it'll be a nice ride to the coast i'm thinking....

thanks for reading this week. Please let me know if there's stuff you'd like to talk to about. Also, i'm going to start with bike mechanic stuff next week. we'll start very simply and then move into specific systems for folks inclined to do so. Thanks! Jim
